Things may be differentiated across space.
But they are difficult to distinguish along time.

This is the challenge and illusion of individuality.

    1. I was reading Richard Dawkins’ book ‘The Blind Watchmaker’ and his idea about how the branching effect of evolution allows for a sort of clear categorisation of animal species (perfect nesting, I think). I don’t fully understand the argument but it did inspire me to write this post.
